How to Play Slope
Two keys control everything. A or left arrow moves the ball left, D or right arrow moves it right. The ball moves forward automatically — speed increases the longer the run continues. There is no jumping, no power-ups, no checkpoints. One collision ends the run and the score is final.
The controls are simple enough to understand in thirty seconds. Getting consistent at the later stages of a run takes considerably longer. The speed increase is gradual enough that it feels manageable until it suddenly isn’t — which is what pulls most players back for another attempt immediately after a run ends.
Tips for Slope
Look ahead of the ball, not at it. Reacting to what the ball is currently touching is already too late at higher speeds. Reading the track two or three sections ahead gives enough time to adjust before the curve arrives.
Small adjustments beat large ones. Overcorrecting at speed sends the ball across the track and off the other side. Tiny, early corrections are more reliable than sharp turns once the pace builds.
