About Hex puzzle game

Hex Puzzle is a tile-matching puzzle game developed by Chris Benjaminsen and published by FRVR, originally released in 2015. The board is a large hexagon filled with empty cells. Three hex-shaped pieces appear at the bottom each turn — drag one onto the board to place it. Fill a complete row in any direction — horizontal, vertical, or diagonal — and it clears automatically. The goal is to keep placing pieces without running out of space.

The scoring is straightforward: larger row clears earn more points than single rows. Clearing multiple rows simultaneously with one piece placement produces the highest scores. Points display at the top of the screen throughout the session.

How to Play Hex Puzzle

Drag pieces from the bottom of the screen onto the board using a mouse or finger. Each of the three available pieces has a fixed shape — rotate isn’t an option, so placement decisions matter from the start. A row clears the moment it fills completely. Pieces that don’t contribute to any immediate clear stay on the board and reduce available space for future placements. The game ends when no remaining piece can fit anywhere on the board.
